Each Dropperful provides 1,000 mcg Vitamin B-12 for Energy and Nervous System Health
Great Taste, Vegetarian Formula, B-Complex Support
Absorption of B12 can be impaired with aging, digestive disorders, and common medications (acid blockers) so sublingual or under-the-tongue forms of B12 are very effective.

Liquid Vitamin B12 Information and Benefits
Vitamin B12 is known as the “pep vitamin” but its role is actually much more serious and diverse:
In a study that analyzed data from a trial of 800 participants with elevated psychological distress who took either a placebo or supplemented with a combination of vitamin B12 and folic acid, the later group showed improved immediate and delayed memory in older men and women. “The prospect of using dietary supplements of folic acid and vitamin B12 to prevent cognitive decline appears promising.” The authors of the study conclude.

Poor Vitamin B12 Status Impacts Brain Volume and Function
A study of 121 participants in the Chicago Health and Aging Project revealed an association between unfavorable serum markers of vitamin B12 status and reduced brain volume and cognitive function.

Studies Show An Association Between Deficiencies In Folate and Vitamin B12 and Depression
“Both folate and vitamin B12 are important for the nervous system at all ages, but in older people where deficiencies are known to be common even in relatively healthy persons, low folate and vitamin B12 status affects mood, cognitive and social functions,” the researchers noted.

Vitamin B12 Relieves Painful Mouth Sores
Vitamin B12 safely relieves recent aphthous stomatitis (I.e. painful mouth sores also known as canker sores) after six months of therapy.
Patients were randomly assigned to take one sublingual tablet per day of vitamin B12 (1,000 mcg) or matching placebo for 6 months. Average duration of outbreak, number of ulcers per month, and pain all declined significantly over the entire study duration in the vitamin B12 group, but not in placebo patients; the differences between groups become particularly significant at months five and six. By the end of the study, 74% of the vitamin B12 group but only 32% placebo patients were ulcer-free.

Vitamin B12 Reduced Cognitive Decline
In a published 10 year study, researchers in Oxford, U.K. examined the association of cognitive decline with vitamin B12 status. Cognitive function was assessed on at least three occasions during 10 years and related to serum concentrations of vitamin B12.
Results of the study indicated that cognitive function declined abruptly at younger ages in some participants but remained intact in others until very old age. In analysis after adjustment for established risk factors, reduced vitamin B status predicted cognitive decline. After adjustment for all vitamin markers, the associations of cognitive decline for those with low levels of vitamin B12 remained significant. This led researchers to conclude that low vitamin B12 status could initiate more rapid cognitive decline.
